Job Description :
Our client has used Oracle e-business as its sole system for all purchasing and payment requirements since 2000. It enhanced the system more recently and is now looking to further improve its use by introducing new modules.
An Oracle Financials Functional Analyst is required to provide support and advice on the following:
o Stock Management (including Inventory) o Oracle Supply Chain applications, particularly 'Oracle Inventory', and integration with 'Oracle Projects o Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) o Order Management (OM). o i-Procurement o i-Expenses o Accounts Receivable o Cash Management o Payables knowledge to support change of Bank Accounts/ process/ system configuration o Government Banking Service
Work Required:
o Functional solution development. o Mapping of customer requirements onto the Oracle applications set. o Client facing role working through requirements and delivering working solutions. o Preparation of Test Catalogue and detailed Test Scripts. o Co-ordination of Testing for Inventory, MRP, OM and iProc. o Assist in transition of Inventory, MRP, OM and iProc into LIVE environment.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain applications, particularly 'Oracle Inventory', and integration with 'Oracle Projects' by reference to previous implementations. • Expert level Oracle e-business suite knowledge. • Experience of successful delivery of a substantial Oracle Financials implementation. • Functional Analyst and Subject Matter Expert. • Experience of using Oracle in a business environment (rather than purely technical experience or through implementation). • Able to translate their knowledge into an appropriate business context, providing sound business advice. • Previous experience of working within the public sector.
Basic clearance would be useful.
